Vacation pay is subject to withholding as if it were regular wages. If your entire 40-hour paycheck is for vacation or if the 40 hours included 8 hours of vacation time plus 32 hours of hours worked, then the Federal income tax withholding would be the same. You would not notice a difference. Now comes the good part.
